Is it advisable as the bride to wear lip gloss/ lipstick on the day of wedding..Ladies %26amp; men can give views?
I always wanted to wear a red or goldish lipstick on my wedding day.
The day of my trial I tried the darker lipstick and it was pretty but not as I expected it.
The cosmetician did a light pink and it looked gorgeous.
I carried with me light pink lip gloss and it was perfect.
Try to wear something that's not going to be all over your husband's face at the time of kissing.
I would suggest either a really snudge-proof lipstick or a tinted chapstick. I have naturally rosy lips so I just added a little chapstick. BUT, I never ever wear lipstick so not only would I have not known where to begin I would have felt weird all day long. Do what is more confortable for you. If you wear lipstick often, go ahead. If not, you may want to consider some chapstick just to give your lips a bit of gloss.
I am usually a tinted lip gloss kind of woman, but on my wedding day I wanted something that would last. So, I used Estee Lauder makeup, and their combination of lip liner and lipstick lasted me all day-and they actually formulate their lipstick to have a pleasant taste to it, which was nice for me, since I never wear it and hate the flavor of average lipstick.
In fact, I'd recommend all of Estee Lauder's line of makeup-I put it on in early afternoon, and when we were walking out of the reception, it was still looking good, and I hadn't reapplied at all!
I don't usually wear much makeup, but on my weding day I used MaryKay products. A lady from my church helped me with a make-over and helped me select perfect colors to go with my skin coloring and the dress I was wearing.
My lipstick did smudge a llittle, but fortunately my sister told me about it and helped me fix it before everyone got there for the receiving line. You might have your MOH help you keep an eye on your makeup, so you look good during all festivities.
Yes the bride can wear lip gloss/lipstick on the day of the wedding
Do not put that much lip gloss/lipstick on the lips because the cameras do not take too well to glossy things.
Faith you said that I can add you. When I go to add you it says this person is not allowing any one to add him or her as a contact
I had my make-up done and her strong recommendation was to go buy some of that ';smudge proof'; lipstick that lasts 8-12 hours. Almost every grocery store line of cosmetics sells one, Cover Girl, etc. and it does have clear gloss that you put over it so your lips are shiny.
It stayed on and didn't leave lipstick on my husband after we kissed during the ceremony.
depends on the woman. i cant freaking stand lip stick/gloss (no matter how lightly or smoothly i apply it, i can always feel it and it drives me nuts) so if i were to wear it on my wedding day it would look really unnatural.
plus i somehow got lucky and my lips always manage to be some pretty shade. i get people all the time asking me what kind of lipstick im wearing and i have to rub my lips to prove im not wearing any
Liplicious lip gloss from Bath %26amp; Body Works! Sheer color, and a yummy taste! They are very pretty. My favorite is Hot Cakes. Actually smells and tastes like pancakes.
It depends on your fiancee what does he like. Some guys are picky when they kiss you. My fiancee only likes me in a certain types of lip gloss/ lipstick. Ask him. Some guys says its leaves an after taste in their mouth :D Like I said it depends on them and what looks good on you.
I can't imagin any bride that would not wear either lip gloss of lipstick on the day of their wedding.
natural or light pink lipgloss
