Is there any way to make a high gloss lipstick look matte?

I have several nice lipstick's that are very high gloss when on. I'm staring to see that I look a whole lot better in a matte. Is there any way I can tone down the high gloss stick's to fit my new matte need?Is there any way to make a high gloss lipstick look matte?
apply a coat blot the gloss and then apply another blot and you will have that fabulous matte look i prefer it to, alot of lip sticks are too frosty and too glossy so that is what i do if so. Also if you apply a little bit of powder to your lip stick when its on it ill look more matte to suggested a powder close to your lip stick color. :) goood luck!Is there any way to make a high gloss lipstick look matte?

i'd suggest a tissue, and gently dab your lips with it.





or you could apply a blush with a brush to matte it down.

All of them are right. But if you want to spend money for a lip mattifier then i suggest the one from the bodyshop.
dab powder on your lips after applying your lipstick than mash your lips
