Light pink lipstick/gloss but my lips are too red?? How do i fix it?

I love the pale nudes of light pinks and peach colours. However, when i put these colours on my lips, my lip colour shows through them even though the colours aren't transparent. Is there anything i can do to make my own lip colour fade so the lighter colours will show??

Thanks in advance :)Light pink lipstick/gloss but my lips are too red?? How do i fix it?
Put foundation over your lips aswell and then seal it with Lipcote. You could also try a nude lipstick with a peachy gloss on top =). Try the lipsticks that last 10 hours xLight pink lipstick/gloss but my lips are too red?? How do i fix it?
Put vaseline on your lips to moisturise them and make the colour last longer.

Then put a small amount of cocealer/foundation on you lips to disguise th colour. You could use your normal concealer or you could invest in a green concealer (it cancels out red tones) you can get one for 拢1.99 from boots natural collection.

Then apply your lipgloss.
Here's some tips:

1. Take some toliet paper and ';blot'; it on your lips. This takes the natural flush and oil off your lips, so it won't overpower your gloss.

2. Take the smallest amount of concealer or foundation and smear it on your lips. If you put too much concealer/foundation on, it will make your lips look chalky.

3. Apply lip gloss as usual.
1. Exfoliate your lips - it makes them softer and look better when wearing lipstick.

2. Put either concealer or foundation on your lips.

3. Use the shade of lipstick that you like and apply it over the concealer/foundation.

This should get your lips how you want. :)
If you like the color red then don't put anything on ur lips. Show ur real beauty. Do you really need pink to be a girly girl?
you put concealer on your lips and then put whatever lip gloss you want on them
yes, put on dark frist then the pink.
put your foundation that you use on your face over your lips too
