Hey if the makeup is really good quality and expensive, it's worth it. If its cheap lookin and expensive, don't buy it. My fave brands are MAC, NARS, and Chanel. Try those. :) Whats better lip gloss or lipstick? what price is too expensive for make up?

I would recommend trying estee lauder high gloss lip gloss it's awesome...the price is expensive but
it keeps you lips smooth, soft and glossy without being sticky
you might want to try the following shades:

-Blush (I have this shad and it's great)

-Flamingo
-Honey
-Pearl
-Rose

Lip gloss, because it just enhances your natural color, and it doesnt show up when you take a drink, but thats just what I think. I once bought a 30 dollar lip closs with cologyn, which was a lot. But I usually go with whatevers at bath and body works, because I love theirs.
Lip Stick definitely! I never see the point in lip gloss because all the lip glosses i have ever tried don't even show up! lol
I like red lippy, and wear it almost constantly :)
I would probably only go up to £8 for lipstick maybe just over £10 if it was really good.
Lip gloss is better in my opinion because:
Not as much comes off when you have a drink
It is more sheer and therefore more natural looking
Often cheaper
I wouldn't spend more than £20/$40 dollars on a lip gloss, and for that much it should be special x
I wear both and sometimes together! MK is my favorite, they moisturize and condition my lips, its way better than lip balm!

When I was at school I used to love to wear lipstick and I was always getting into trouble but I much prefer lip gloss now because it feels better and seems a little more natural but still makes your lips look special.

Depends on your budget. I prefer lip gloss. Lip stick just doesn't suit me and I can never find the right shade. I always buy drugstore brands cause I'm not that into makeup and I would rather spend more money on clothes.
It's all about preference and what you're comfortable with.
Lipgloss generally is for a soft, natural day look.

Men/Boys .. Do you hate it when girls wear lip-gloss / Lipstick.?

For a nude look you should buy this lipstick called Belle De Jour by Nars [ or a darker one similar to that ], and then line it with a lip liner from mac called Cushy, after that I add a little bit of light pink lip gloss over it. It lasts and it makes my lips look yummy %26amp; luscious ! a dark pink would also look good on asian lips too !

Then, evenly apply a thin coat of lip balm. Lastly, dab a clear gloss in the center of your lips and blend outward. Smack lips together and you have perfectly glossy lips!

I've used lip gloss/sticks in alll types of brands even high end department stores, and ALba is great!! THen i felt better about wearing it, when I found out it was organic and animal friendly (I was shocked to hear the horrible abuse that happens to animals for cosmetic testing, so sad)
First the colour. Make shurre it looks good on you and matches your skin tone plus your lips. If you have a dark skin i would recommend something light pinky light colours. try using a colour that matchs your lip colour and try using the naturals collection, it is a bit mor expensive i no, but mine has lasted me a while now and it gives off a more natural look

Listen - you have to get the red Versace wet look lip gloss. Absolutley gorgeous. If you try this you will never try another shade of red gloss!

red lips are ovely and sexy, and sure to make a bold statement. but if you do up your lips either do natural eyes or just eyeliner and mascara which will make your lps stand out even more
Yes you can ... but make sure the rest of your face is simple ... do statement eyes or statement lips .... if you want red red lips i reconmend exfoliating your lips first a lip scrub (trust me they exist) or even an old toothbrush! then apply some red lip stain as the look will last longer ... try Benetint! It will also look more natural but still have that WOW factor. if lip stain is a bit scary go to a beauty counter in the likes of debenhams and they can help you as different reds will suit your skin tone and they will help you find one that makes you look sexy rather than trampy!!! Either way go for it you will look great and remeber to keep the rest of your make up neutral and make those lips the focal point !!

If you want more, add a bit of lipstick in your desired shade (dab it on, don't glide like they do in the commercials, or apply with a lip brush to ';wake up'; lips and plump them out), then blot, and gloss over.
Poof! Bee-stung, bright red lips that won't fade to nonexistance for at least 6 hours! (if done correctly, heh)
